The exceptionally well organised NRHC was the perfect forum to showcase how practitioners in the most remote corners of Australia can bulk bill with an app, even without an internet connection! And with Australia’s only medical billing rules engine (17,000 rules and counting) they can kiss goodbye rejections too.
Our Synapps MBS billing system is medical billing on the go made simple, removing the endless or delayed paper cycle! Once you’re back in internet range, your claims will go straight through for payment with one click. Instant submission and direct links to getting paid those complex item numbers or episodes of care that usually wait weeks to be billed as the paper piles up. The system offers instant processing and live app updates so you can watch your claims pass through to payment. No more tick sheets or expensive administration.
We are delighted to report that the feedback from the rural healthcare community was overwhelmingly positive and we are excited at the prospect of continuing to build and progress new relationships forged at NRHC, offering services aimed at redirecting rural health spend to front end clinical service delivery rather than unnecessary backend administration.
We networked till we dropped, meeting pretty much all of the conference delegates and it was great to get confirmation from some existing clients that our services are absolutely ideal for rural healthcare. One delegate confirmed that our billing app had assisted in instant submission of claims so complex that previously he hadn’t really bothered submitting them! Lengthy billing processes and high rejections are a thing of the past for him.
Not surprisingly, we found there are still plenty of medical billing myths in circulation about how to bill correctly and how Medicare works. Myths that we will bust shortly when we reach out to rural communities via our own educational platform, AIMAC. We’ve been busy developing our registered training organisation over the last few years and look forward to offering specific rural health programs in the near future. Watch this space! Our online, flexible, learning modules are perfect for rural health workers to develop their staff or increase their own knowledge of how to bill correctly under Medicare.
To all our rural health friends, new and old, it was an absolute pleasure and we hope to stay in touch with many of you and catch up again soon. Until then, if you’re interested in partnering or learning more about Synapse Medical Services, please contact us here.
