In Chennai, the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce hosted a ‘Breakfast Meeting’ in honour of H.E. The Hon Barry O’ Farrell AO, Australian High Commissioner to India. Members representing Indian and Australian companies across diverse sectors attended and we had a full house !
Welcome remarks were delivered by the Chamber’s CEO Ms. Petula Thomas which also included a short video about IACC’s transformational journey over the past 4 years and a tribute to the High Commissioner on his remarkable tenure in India.
The High Commissioner’s keynote address brilliantly highlighted the growing India-Australia relationship, key milestones, the recent visit of Prime Minister Modi to Australia and what lies ahead.
Members and businesses enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the High Commissioner during audience Q&A and with Australian Consul General for South India Ms. Sarah Kirlew.
