With the theme “Day Hospitals – providing solutions for a sustainable health care system”, this important national conference will feature a program that addresses the many challenges faced by the private health industry, including the increased complexity of procedures performed in day hospitals, actions to inform consumers of the benefits of day hospital treatment and most importantly the sustainability of the day hospital sector. It is expected that over 300 delegates from a range of medical, health care and associated professions and industries will attend the 2019 Conference, to hear from inspirational speakers and industry leaders, including Derrick McManus, Robyn Moore, Elaine Bensted, Sharon Ferrier, Dr Sam Martin, Andrew Ashcroft (Bupa Australia), Justin Vaughan (nib) and presentations from international speakers William Prentice, CEO of Ambulatory Surgery Center Association USA, Dr Ian Jackson (past president of IAAS and President of IAAS Scientific Committee) and Mr Michael Kent, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, UK.
